In Dutch, birthday translates to “verjaardag” where “jaar” means “year” and “dag” means day, so the literal meaning of “verjaardag” comes down to “the day you grow one year older”. By that logic, the day a baby grows one month older could be named “vermaanddag”, where “maand” means month. It’s not a real word but it’s a good pun and it would get the idea across. Unfortunately it doesn’t work in English.

You can literally ask any AI if being 6’7" at his age (or any of his heights/ages following the years where they started HGH) is normal, and it will voluntarily tell you while it can possibly be normal, in general no, it’s a sign of excess growth hormone and the person should be screened for acromegaly or Marfan’s. Per Trump, Barron has no diseases (yes, he’s been asked about this before because his son is so tall), he is just that tall.
If Barron was as many standard deviations short as he is tall, he’d be 4’7".
He was not only given HGH, but so much of it that it potentially risks his heart and could be part of why he has alleged mental/brain issues.

This seems… Is there any actual evidence for this, or is this just kinda a wishful conspiracy? Because I’m all for calling out their hypocrisy, but not only does this family have a history of lying about their height, tall people… exist. Approaching your full height at 19 isn’t exactly uncommon.

It’s extremely on brand for a Trump to do this. Decrying [X] publicly while getting it for yourself is basically all he has ever done. Look to the covid vaccines for a convenient example. In addition, Trump thinks being tall = being important (just look at the six inch lifts he wears in his shoes) and I have no problem at all believing that he doped up his son with a bunch of drugs to try and turn him into some kind of superhuman.

They’ve been making up stories about everyone else for their entire lives. So even if this one is completely made up, what does it matter? What goes around comes around. They’re lucky it’s something as relatively legal and safe as HGH. If we were really going tit for tat on Trump misinformation, we should have mainstream media telling everyone that Barron Trump was raised on an IV drip feed of stem cells, crack cocaine and blended up white babies. That would be closer to actually tasting some of their own medicine.

Honestly? Yeah. I feel slightly bad for some of the earlier childhood years (under 13 or so) that don’t get one. Otherwise, 100% agreement.
My wife, who tends to try to milk her entire “birthday month”, would disagree. A “birthday month” is whichever is most convenient from: the month leading up to, calendar month of, or month leading after her actual birthday.
Those actually line up surprisingly well with real life milestones. I think an argument could be made to celebrate half-doublings after 8y…, but that would lose some of the elegance of this system. Although I guess you just have to calculate the first one (roughly 12y 280d 7h) and then just double those as well (so the others would be 25y 195d 14h, 51y 26d 4h, 102y 52d 8h).
Yeah, we took photos of the kids in the same chair each month in the first year. It wasn’t like we had parties, but this is normal new baby stuff. Plenty of legitimate reasons to hate the Trumps. Dogpiling on them for shit like this is petty and reinforces the right-wing narrative that the attacks are personal.

I honestly don’t remember, but it’s entirely possible we said “Happy 8 month birthday!” I didn’t tweet about it, but I didn’t tweet at all.
Otherwise, I agree with you completely, I just think when we’re sending American children to death camps, the first (third?) family’s social media habits aren’t on the list of hills to die upon.

My wife has a one month birthday every month as well.
Maybe due to all of the accomplishments of the Cheeto king’s administration life expectancy will be measured in months to hide the fact that our collective life expectancy has been drastically reduced. When you got studies coming out saying that the poorest European lives about as long as the richest American, well you know you got a problem.

A birth day is the day on which you were born, say Saturday, and you’ll have one of those every week.

I think it’s rather common around me to throw a tiny celebration each months on the first year. A treat and a small message to the family never hurts 🤷
Plus, 8 months is super round, it’s a power of two and 2/3 of a year ☝️🤓
Yeah, we didn’t celebrate but we were very aware of each month passing in the first year of our children. Especially since it is a time where they develop very fast. A five month old baby is very different to a eight month old baby. The first year felt like reinventing the whole family routines every couple of weeks.
So, yeah. There are things to make fun of and ridicule about the Trumps, but beeing happy that a person you love and have a conection to is getting older and changing is not one of them for me. Regardless of who is doing it.
