do you want a list?! I have adhd and 1.324 different hobbies and projects in different stages of completeness. If I had free time I would get 200 more hobies and start 200 more project without finishing the ones before lol
Retire. Fighting my medical conditions is a full time job as it is.
Read a lot of books. Swim. Go for coffee anytime I could with friends. Volunteer. Sit and stare out the window at the rain. Foster parenting.
Ride my Motorcycle and brew beer. Then go work out. Hang with friends. Hike, swim, explore the world.
I would make handcrafted furniture, work on my garden, and contribute to open source software that supports both farming and woodcrafts.
I’d design and build useful things

Write sci fi novels and take care of stray cats
Run an animal sanctuary and grow lots of veggies and flowers
Create art. Writing screenplays and books. Painting, gardening, working out, traveling, seeing live music, volunteer with whatever great organization I happen to be into at the time. Spend more time in my community. Have children.
I’d like to think I’d actually do all the art I’m too fucking stressed to sit down and focus on. Maybe make a video game or two.
My long term wish has always been to fuck off to somewhere not-too-warm and tropical, and write stories from a place where I can see the sea.
Kung fu, charitable volunteering, and any intellectual challenge I could take on.
Define basic needs.
Is that just food water shelter utilities Healthcare clothing?
Does it include entertainment?
Travel?
I would say: food, clothing, shelter, healthcare
Entertainment isn’t a basic need.
I beg to differ. Entertainment is very much absolutely necessary for having a healthy mind.
But it’s not required for you to live and therefore you have to get that yourself.
Someone could lock you in a room and provide the 4 basics until you die of old age. Clothing and shelter are needs to protect you from the elements.
Don’t worry, if my baeic needs are met I’ll happily entertain you for free
Everyone gets two sticks and a hoop.
Gardening, fishing, skiing, hunting, making furniture, building boats, long road trips with the family.
Basically typical retirement shit.
Spend as much time as I could in nature or playing video games. Or playing video games while in nature. Lots of camping.
