I don’t think it is (though Dems seem to pull that often). Supreme Court Justices seem to have a very hard time letting go of the power, even on the more progressive side (Notorious R.B.G. being the most recent example). There’s basically no way to remove a supreme court justice, impeachment will pretty much never happen. I think it’s more recognizing that multiple who are 75 years old in a stressful job and being targeted by the public more and more is likely to lead to at least one of them leaving, be it death or retirement.

Florida just banned lab grown meat and removed climate change targets from their books. So, the usual for them.

I just replace all my tests with noop codes. Quick, easy, passes.

Although I agree in general, the antivirus complaint isn’t really fair. Windows was by and large the largest install base, especially in the corporate sector. It only makes sense it became the most targeted. Scam apps and that’s do exist on Android and Linux, they’re just mitigated other ways. For now.

Almost always follow the money. Often the mayors offer insane tax breaks or land finances or something to attract the companies. Ostensibly to bring in more jobs and boost their own economy. Most do not consider the environmental portion, definitely companies don’t.

Okay, that’s pretty lame. According to several spots (all quoting an RPGsite writer and an emoji response from a Sqenix dev) square Enix actually brought in a third party company specifically to improve Steam Deck support. Honestly makes sense, the steam deck seems like their largest potential new customer base.

Do you have any documentation on this you can link because it doesn’t really make sense what you mean and I love learning about these things. Most of the cutscenes will be rendered in engine so nothing special there, and the pre-rendered ones if they used an unusual codec I don’t get why the codec isn’t baked into the game files which would render that also a moot problem.

That’s the part that I’m banking on, that 12% has already happened. That’s 12% they’ve lost out on in the short present term. I’m hoping they see that and decide they want that money back. I know they’re probably doing a cost benefit analysis of cost to combat climate change versus potential lost GDP. But still, I’ll take any arrow in the quiver against them.
