Wait, fucking excuse me? That’s not real
Not fucking possible…
I know. How can the entire country be wrong. Only one state got it right. Also, it’s called pop.
Does this involve your mouth?
Depends on a whole lot of things that probably shouldn’t be said here
But yeah probably
Yeah. But you guys also say “aboot” and “rut beer”, so you’re Canadian and don’t count.
the twin cities doesn’t have a ‘little italy’ or ‘chinatown’… but they got a whole suburb ‘little canada’
They’re also one of the states where people say “on accident” instead of “by accident” so I’m not terribly surprised.
They know the horror of Canadian geese first hand. No way in hell will you get them to willingly partake in a ritual that has even the slightest chance of summoning one.
Something something marinate!
No, I hunted one of those motherfuckers one time, you can marinate that motherfucker all you want and it’s still not gonna be edible.
Like $100 in special permits and special ammo and it wasn’t worth a damn.
I see why Christmas goose fell out of favor.
See, at the end of a Christmas Carol, Scrooge never actually was rehabilitated.
He went and bought the biggest one of those nasty ass birds he could find to stick on those poor people’s table.
Ducks are way better than geese. Unless you’re also a duck.
But on the other hand, it makes more sense to run from a goose. If a duck came at me, I’d probably stand still to see what it wanted.
duck. duck. duck. duck. duck. goose.
vs
blue duck. purple duck. yellow duck. grrrrrrrrrrreen duck. black duck. grey duck.
These weirdos are probably doing their online searching with “Duck Duck Gr” too.

Weird, I remember when I was in elementary school in MN they used ‘duck duck goose’, this is the first i’ve heard of the other variation.
Yeah it’s true. The game originated in Sweden, and we have a lot of Swedish immigrants in Minnesota. It was originally called anka anka gråttanka, which translates to duck duck grey duck. Or that’s the story we tell here at least.
That’s really neat. Were you also aware of “duck duck goose” growing up, or was it weird hearing it another way the first time?
I’m not telling you
