    Lovely project. Does anyone know any other examples where rivers were restored where once a car sewer stood?

      Not same story, but some points in common:

      In Valencia, after a flood, they diverted a river. The plan was to use the new available space for an urban highway (it was the sixties…), but thanks to people push back it was turned into e beautfult park

      Utrecht in the Netherlands had a moat that they turned into a motorway, and then back into a canal a few years ago

    What a nice change. The only thing missing is more bike lanes. The raised car sewer is only for pedestrians, but a bike lanes would’ve been a great addition.
