I’m glad I’m not the only one who hyperfixates on songs, right now I have Party 4 U by Charlie xcx on repeat.
It’s always A Real Hero by College feat. Electric Youth. Drive absolutely dunked me into the synthwave pool 14 years ago and I never left.
When I’m hyperfixating i usually can’t bear any music as it is distracting me.
Unless it’s a rotative repetitive physical task, but I rarely get fixated on them.

This week, Memories of Green by Vangelis, from the Blade Runner soundtrack.
Oh, that’s gorgeous.
For me it’s “Hide In Plain Sight” by Jim James. Amazing minimalist intro rolls into a dark, fuzzed out and bluesy build up. I’m obsessed with it.
