nitter.privacydev.netSo, the TI has ended and it's time to sum up the results of fundraising. First of all: I want to say big thanks to all who subscribed - you guys rock! I really appreciate your participation in that perfomance and I definitely gonna try to provide someting more entertaining than this year's compendium for you (let me know if you need me to dress up as dota characters 😏)
The second thing: I saw a lot of different reactions on social media about that and I want to make a small statement. I did this for two reasons: cause it was fun and cause I'd like to drag attention to the problem of decreased prize pool of the main esports event in the world (mostly cause it was fun though). It really matters btw, cause it's been reported that this TI had the lowest viewers number and some of the players were also kinda upset.
And the last and the most interesting part I guess - we made 20k for 3 days, I'm also adding 5k out of my pocket to make the total of 25 000 $.
The bad news - I asked the winners how can I transfer them money and they refused to take it, which I totally understand and ask you not to judge anyone. It's sports and not every organization is ready to be associated with that kind of stories. So I'm gonna ask you how to spend this money: should we give it to the Gaiming Gladiators or maybe I should organize my own tournament and add those to the prize pool. Let me know your thoughts and I'm gonna make a poll so we can decide what to do! ❤️
Pfff… Porn actresses that thinks “gaming” is a game played like “fun in bad”.
Those people sacrifice a lot to be good, as much as a tennisman.
