Loved them. And I loved the whole post apocalyptic fires under huge caldroms feature about them. Best part of my trip to Georgia except for the cocaine.

This is the coolest kid in New Jersey.
It’s the same everywhere is MAGAs.
Space Invaders, Asteroid, Pong, Adventure… these are retro
Is there an article about this defederation with the people who we likely should be engaging in discourse?
Why people gotta hate on a movie three decades old that remains perfect?
It is the end of everything.
I met a traveller from an antique land,
Who said—“Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. . . . Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed;
And on the pedestal, these words appear:
My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings;
Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.”
And those guns end up whispering to the sickest among us about how fun they’d be if they took them to a school.
I can’t believe this is still happening.
You’ll notice for my screenshot, I didn’t even click on it.
I feel sorry for anyone who falls for one of those.
I am so glad he did not pull the trigger. What an ending to that video.
I love .ml and it’s where I go when I’m in the right mood. Maybe it’s not for everyone, but I say meet .ml halfway.
Hope you came back and saw the comment confirming this.
Thinking about your name, Anticorp. Just watched The Internet’s Own Boy. It’s a doc on the life and death of Aaron Swartz. If you haven’t seen it you will appreciate it.
Just read all the comments but only have time to reply to you.
I am convinced that few Lenny user experiences are the same — and that’s a good thing. I stand by the meme for the simple reason when I post to Lenny I’m not putting money into the pocket of anyone.
I guess that’s the biggest draw for me.
And that I feel users here, whether they agree with one another or whether they might be toxic, they are at least thoughtful and attempt to support their claims with reason and evidence.
And I never feel used at Lemmy the way I have on FB ETC.
All the above is true. My own few experiences made me more curious, analytical, and open minded. All very good permanent changes.
