Agreeing with you, but if you want to try android with a controller try a gamevice flex. Works with cases, has actual pd charging passthru and no bluetooth delay.
I evaluated 10+ controllers and nobody online even talks about the flex but I have found it to be the absolute best one.

It’s absolutely worth the $20 to get at least a 128g 2230 nvme disk, and 1tb can be had for within $10 of a same size SD card.
This one is great, and since it’s a linear game with basically no actual gameplay in The Medium you get pretty much the whole experience.

I hope this triggers a nice round of re releases. AC4 and For Answer are a couple of games that just do not emulate well. PC/PS5 ports would be delightful.
If you go by that logic then there would be no second place console in the market, because every game would exclusively be on the number one console.

Games often don’t put the save files in the game data dir but use some random place in documents or the home directory. The library itself will move and be picked up fine but the saves will have to be sync thinged or rcloned or something manually if they’re not on steam cloud.
I just upgraded from my 512g deck to a rog ally. The hardware, especially the screen, is so much better. The software on the ally is so terrible that it came within a breath of going back to best buy until I found chimeraos and am getting 90% of the stramos experience with them closing in on full functionality very quickly.
I just can’t go back to the 800p screen after trying the ally.
If you can go hands on with both its very much worth your time to eval both.
Even if it doesn’t say it has support if it has controller support and doesn’t require anticheat you’ve got a great chance that it will be fine.
