This is why I got a PS3. Most games run off disc. One update no more than 60GB and hundreds of offline games. I hate online play

crowdstrike sent a corrupt file with a software update for windows servers. this caused a blue screen of death on all the windows servers globally for crowdstrike clients causing that blue screen of death. even people in my company. luckily i shut off my computer at the end of the day and missed the update. It’s not an OTA fix. they have to go into every data center and manually fix all the computer servers. some of these severs have encryption. I see a very big lawsuit coming…

I just recently bought a PS4 for $150. So being able to play most modern games (with the exception of any new games 2025 or later) is a pretty good deal :)

The problem is that tools use to detect AI writing are not accurate. At the end of the day as long as the information is worded correct and the information is correct that’s that matters. When you have AI write an argument to cases that don’t exist as a defense lawyer… that’s when theirs problems

kind of like "“Children of Men” but people just choosing not to have children. I see people my age in their 40’s having only 1 or 2 children and people in their 30’s just not deciding to have children at all.

If I had an android phone I would prob use Linux without a doubt. But having the iPhone and Mac ecosystem integration is important. At least I know Apple will won’t force updates on my computer and makes updates that makes sense. Tired of Microsoft throwing shit at the wall in terms of user experience

This is why I switched over to Mac back in 2022. I knew that I didn’t want to move forward with Windows but had to get a new computer anyways. I already have an iPhone and a Mac Mini M1 was only $700. Thanks Microsoft for forcing a Windows user of 30 years away from your OS.
