Mirin! And other stuff you’d find at Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, etc stores. Like the different types of sauces and ingredients you can get from them can often mix very well with traditional American foods.

Sorry for the extremely late reply. But anyways, I use Auto Tab Discard - Frees up ram with unused tabs
Sideberry - a vertical option to organize and search tabs with a overwhelming plethora of options
Tab Session Manager - To make sure I don’t lose my tabs if my browser crashes
Tab Stash - to hide away bundles of tabs so I can sort through them later
Window Titler - To name my different windows I have open in order to keep things organized on my windows toolbar. I use the old school windows toolbar layout which has text beside the icon. I like it this way instead of going through little popup windows to sort through my shit.
Every time I have tried a different browser than Firefox I could never get it set up quite right. I never strayed from Firefox only because of the openness of the add-ons and customization, even when Firefox was miles behind when it came to browsing speed in the early 2010s as Chrome was popping off.
Anyone who tells me Chrome is better hasn’t seen my multitude of tab add-ons which are the only thing that hold my online life together.
Plus, I recall google limiting adblockers and such on Chrome at a certain point. Firefox would never
Yep. I’m 100% sold on it. Thank you very much kind human. It’s crazy how used to Google I had become. Not thinking about features which would be helpful like simply raising/lowering a sites visibility. It even has done well for me when it comes to local searches! Truly a game changer.
Um… I seem to be forgetting just how cable TV was like paid YouTube. Could you refresh my memory?
You may have changed my life with kagi. It is amazing so far at giving the results I want, and categorizing stuff like discussions so you don’t have to add “Reddit” at the end of every search to get decent results.
Valve has stated that they are okay with people making mods using their property, as long as they either openly state that they are not Valve, and do not use Valves IP in their names unless they ask for permission by Valve, which they will give in many cases. They are more strict when it comes to commercial games using their IP, of course. I think in the case of Portal 64 though, it definitely has to do with Nintendo’s ridiculously over the top protection of their copyrights.
I think the article means that a pedestrian is trying to cross in front of the turning car where the pedestrian does have right of way, so perpendicular to the turning car and parallel with the traffic which has the green light and walk signal.
I hugely appreciate the information! I’ll look into that for sure.
As someone with long covid, it is fucking hell. The extreme fatigue, muscle soreness, lengthened healing times of wounds or new sicknesses or physical exertion have made life hardly bearable. I just straight up don’t have the energy or mental capacity to do anything I used to love and enjoy.
It’s endlessly depressing, even though I know I am keeping myself out of clinical depression after learning how to deal with depressive issues more proactively now.
I wish I just wore an n95 whenever I was around people now, but I know I never would have done so unless I knew how truly awful long covid is.
I second this. I thoroughly enjoyed the hell out of Xen in Black Mesa. I really feel like they really did justice to what the original devs could have accomplished if they had more time.
I haven’t been so fully engrossed in a game like that since… Well Half Life Alyx I guess. Truly a great feeling.
I second Rocket League. It’s hard to find other competitive games that scratch the itch now though. I used to be an FPS guy but the challenge they have just makes me wish I was splaying rocket league
I recently bought a metal detector/stud finder for that exact reason. I also am an electrician and have to find studs or rebar often when drilling and it’s been great for that too. In your case it would work by detecting the nails in the studs instead of looking for the studs themselves. I got the Zircon Metalliscanner (I believe)
I used to ride my bike a lot when I was young to the point where it became my automatic thing to do whenever I was feeling stressed/anxious/depressed. The adventures I went on, while also being outside in nature and in the sun (or moonlight) would always pick me right back up.
I only realized this recently as I’ve had a huge urge to buy a bike again but didn’t know exactly why.
This is the main reason I want one. I originally got a gaming laptop for work trips, but my main computing device is such a scary thing to bring on trips. A deck would be perfect though.
I was a slutty nun for Halloween and looking cute in a skirt is definitely possible, but man does it take a lot of work to find anything that fits decently. Dresses are simply impossible to find of course because, as you said, the shape is not at all made for men.
Also that outfit made me want to go full f1nn5ter and dress up in feminine clothes all the time lol. It’s so much fun! I’m so down for people to figure out how to make the shape work for masculine body shapes.
We are just as prone to right-wing propaganda here in Canada as Americans are too. I’m sure it’s much worse here in Alberta than elsewhere, but it is painfully obvious to me just how aggressive the social media propaganda machine is influencing the minds of everyone here. Yet, if I mention it, I am the crazy one who is being brainwashed… Of course.
