nice
$ resolvectl query lemmy.world
lemmy.world: 135.181.143.230 -- link: enp4s0
2a01:4f9:3a:178f::2 -- link: enp4s0
this sucks, specially as someone that was ghosted (assume denied) on beehaw signup, I’m glad that instances such as lemmy.world exist where I have the chance to post before assuming I’m an undesirable.
already deleted my account, there is no going back.
on the front page, there is a very important selector: subscribed/local/all, by clicking “all” you will see posts from all other instances, and you can subscribe to communities in other instances so they will show up in “subscribed”. if you select “local” (default) only posts from this instance will be visible.
the box text was made with this: https://github.com/xero/figlet-fonts
the logo art is from the wiki: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/ASCII_art, but you need the
eurlatgr
console font for the characters to display properly.
