Thank you for your detailed comments.
Where there’s a will there’s a way. Nothing is impossible, it depends on how far you are willing to go.
If you can learn assembly you have a chance at learning how to crack. Without knowing assembly and low level languages like c/c++ impossible.
Yes, but don’t forget wireless p2p mesh that anyone can setup. There is also 4g/5g cellular and as you mentioned satellites. So even without internet many people can still interconnect. This of course if there is no signal jamming or emp blast.
Arch Linux is fine here with a good offline packages mirror.
It’s a good idea to hoard any and all data you can find and is useful to you. Many people laugh at datahorders but there will be a day they will be bagging for it. You will be able to trade data for food or other necessities :-) In our day and age data is gold.
If internet ever goes down, most savvy of us will make a MESH network.
This is why it’s a good idea having a local mirror of your linux distro packages with at least 2-3 versions. No internet, no problem.
Coding and cracking are two completely different things. Sure it might be easier to learn but not all coders can become crackers.
Internet is different, it is impossible to control. Sure they can make it harder but to 100% control - good luck.
Don’t worry this will never work.
About 50,000 including wounded.
500,000+ just dead not counting wounded, with wounded this will be closer to 1,000,000 I think the number of dead and injured on Russian side will be much higher compared to Ukraine once all this done. War should end sometime in 2025 with Ukraine victory and Russia loosing. /prediction
Definitely more like 500,000 now and many more until all this done.

You can try Wire (https://wire.com/en)
Maybe useless to you. I’ll definitely find use for it. And cracking encryption is a huge plus. Quantum computers have been around for a long time and in use there are all sorts of software and even special OS for it just not for public use for obvious reasons.
