It should be fixed in the next update, but I agree the bug makes the site borderline unusable for now :(

I think we all understand though. The devs are working hard and they’re not many of them. I don’t know how I’d handle dealing with a sudden massive influx of users.

You can imagine too it wasn’t an issue when there were hardly any new posts coming in. One of the many things massive scaling in a short time help reveal!

You can do some pretty cool customization, but I have no idea how. I came across this lemmy instance that looks like an old phpBB forum:
