Hi, I’m Miss Brainfart.

I’m afraid of sharks, with the exception being blåhaj. What could that possibly mean, huh.
(That’s not a hint, I genuinely have no idea)

Lemmings can also find me @miss_brainfart:catgirl.cloud on Matrix, if they desire to do so for e2ee reasons

The dumbest part for me is that I already have an appointment with the cracked firmware distributors but it won’t go anywhere because I can’t even get on a waiting list to talk about offical approval.

We’re gonna get there. I can’t believe in either of our healthcare systems, but I believe in us.

Well, this crack allows me to increase the padding around the buttons up top, allowing easier handling. My drive however will likely be neither hard nor solid, but probably floppy.

The code that needs to be injected for this to work needs official approval first, though.

Oh, I always make sure to turn it into a job for two people. Makes it easier to reach all the important spots when you have a helping hand.

However, make sure to follow my lead, your hands need to go exactly where I tell you to put them.

(Jokes aside for a second, never reach into an open power supply unless you know what you’re doing. In fact, best to not open it in the first place.)

So, now that everything is turned on, let’s go over how to mount a drive

I always start with the buttons up top, this is how you turn on the computer, after all.

But you know, it wouldn’t matter if nothing needs fixing, I always like to play around, just working my way through everything there is to do, really getting down to it.

    How can I help?

A common problem I see is plugging the exhaust and running super hot because of it. But it appears to be on purpose in many cases, and the result is rather interesting to observe, I’ve found.

The buttons on the front panel may also need some fiddling every now and then to keep them functioning firmly.

Some issues need me to go a bit deeper inside though, to solve them to satisfaction.
