The other thing is why this timeline? I think it’s because of the downgrade of the valuation on the IPO.

It seems like there are investors and other forces plus the absolutely awful communication and leadership from Huffman.

They are in this spot where people who don’t seem to understand Reddit are making decisions about it.

Even if this doesn’t “kill” reddit, the decision making has been very obviously hostile toward its users and future.

If you haven’t tried Mlem the beta ios app yet, you should. It’s still definitely a new concept and totally does feel like the early days but I have enjoyed the app a lot.

do you have any more info on how to get started with this? I have no desire to go back but would love to know how to loosely lurk like that
