Incredible story !! 🤓
I’m on the Debian/Ubuntu/TuxedoOs team !!! 😊
You’re not the only one 😅 🙋
Oh!! I didn’t know that … :/
Like with the Solid Project ?
Interesting !! 🤓
Thank you ! I didn’t though that the canvas could be used as diagram. But actually that’s pretty good because it’s not only between notes but I can create boxes too.
I keep it in mind ! 😊
Thank you 😊
Thank you I didn’t remenber that !!! 🙌
Someone else say that https://silverbullet.md/Plugs%2FMermaid could be great, but need to be self hosted…
Right now mainly Nextcloud for task and kanban with Jtx and Deck on android.
For my knowledge markdown files edited with Quillpad, Zettlr, Tangent, Nextcloud …
That’s not zero-knowledge but that’s work for me and I feel that secure enough in my case for my daily life. :)
Yep, the 4.0.7 is the last version.
To check : https://github.com/octoshrimpy/quik/releases
It is on fdroid now.
I’m tired of the argument that the solution to fight tracking/ads/subscription/gafam is self hosting.
It’s a solution for some nice people that have knowledge, time and money for.
But it’s not a solution for everyone.
We need more small nice open source association and company that provide services for people that don’t know the difference between a web search engine and a navigator or just a server and a client.
I think that initiatives like “les chatons” in France are amazing for that!!! ( https://www.chatons.org/en )
And just to be clear, I think that self-hosted services are a part of the solution. :)
I use KDE plasma 6 with Wayland and the context/menu key work as a right click. 🤔
Do you have any details to add!
Super interesting !!
One thing I noticed is that the results are good because of the “algorithm” and also because of the very good curation done by Hacker News community.
This sounds like a problem exclusive to the United States.
I think that in France it’s the same problem. But that hard to find informations about it.
Apple were the ones not allowing the interoperability here, and causing the centralization.
I don’t see why you say that. Can you explain?
In the US, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon have slowly moved to Google’s Jibe platform after years of maintaining their own servers for Rich Communication Services
I understand that the service is not provided by carriers any more but by Google.
And they hide this information a bit further in the app.
What about p2p messengers?
