Probably. I don’t own one of these but the Genesis controller layout is awkward for playing many Nintendo games.

That’s pretty brilliant, reminds me of the old school Nokia phones that had a split qwerty keyboard and the display in the middle.
These are used mostly for playing retro games through emulators.
Yeah that’s the one I was thinking about, thanks!
A bare keyboard attached to a screen, that I could plug my phone (possibly running Phosh) and use it as a hardware for a laptop experience
Back in the day there was a phone called motorola atrix 4g, they made a lapdock for it that let you do this. There was also 3d party company that made lapdocks for modern Samsung phones that support Dex, but I’m not sure if they’re still aournd.

Custom tabs allow Android apps to open websites in the app itself. If you disable it, when you tap on a link the page will open with your default browser instead of inside the app.
Not a fan of all of these fake features being added to modern cars. Fake air vents, fake tailpipes, fake engine noise being piped into the cabin, fake transmission shifts, it all seems so pointless and a waste of engineering effort.
Enjoying it so far, thankfully I had already been using Mastodon for about 6 months so I’ve had time to get used to the quirks and discoverability issues that come with the Fediverse. I hope the learning curve doesn’t turn off less tech savvy users.
Ridiculous. Is spez trying to outdo Elon to see who will run their site to the ground first?
I was really looking forward to this show but now I’m not so sure…
Would love to see more car communities, unfortunately I don’t expect the super niche car subreddits to move to lemmy unless it really blows up.
Good choice with Mint, I think its the best distro for people transitioning from Windows.
