Just uhh, if I “dissappear”, then they got me 😔

I’m a closet atheist. In my country, apostasy is punishable by death. Thus, me being closeted.

We have no centralized prison where all the torture happens there. Instead, all of our prisons are torturous. We even have a place in Riyadh called Al-deerah square, or lovingly referred to by the locals as Chop Chop square, where we behead people publicly. And as i said in another comment, “terrorism” charges can be as mild as leaving the religion.

Many such cases of people being tortured or even killed in different prisons: Abdullah al Hamid, Loujain al Hathloul, Nimr al Nimr, Ali Mohammed Baqir al Nimr, Dawoud al Marhoon.

FYI for non saudis: you can be charged with terrorism for “apostasy”, or “witchcraft”, or “endangering the status quo” (criticizing or revolting against the royal family in any way). So high chance that many of the 45 executed for terrorism aren’t even terrorists.

Pathetic. Instead of the royal family investing their unimaginable wealth into the dumpsterfire of an education system, and the country as a whole, they do this fucking shit to fake looking developed, instead of actually improving the country. Why? because they can’t stand the mere thought of giving up even an ounce of their wealth, even if it means countless will suffer, and die.

They are parasites, and shit like this is why we are one of the most embarrassing countries on the world stage.

As a Saudi who was born and live there, it has always baffled me how, despite the government and royal family being comically evil, the majority will still support them.

Even if you tell them and show them proof of the horrible crimes against humanity that happens daily, they’ll either try to justify it, or brush it off saying “doesn’t affect me”.
