The background of every candidate matters. If the guy ran a casino into the ground, that’s worth reading about if you’re gonna hire him. Of he’s a misogynist, that matters too. When you’re hiring, you choose the best candidate. It ALL matters. You want to pick the best. And there’s plenty of ways for a candidate to disqualify themselves. Weird Old 34 has lots and lots of disqualifying characteristics, with fascist in the top ten.

Can you imagine:

1. Even working in any capacity for Weird Old 34?
2. Then getting upset at his hypocrisy?

This is the way. It is possible and unlikely to have a third party win under the right conditions, like with how the Republican Party became a national party after Lincoln was elected as a third party candidate. But ultimately there will always only be two parties with the outdated FPTP voting method. If only George Washington knew about and pushed for a better voting system than FPTP.

If only Weird 34 was cool and coherent enough to quote Smash Mouth (and not get sued). Instead we get diarrhea dialogue.

Dementia Don flounders when the unexpected comes along. He’s a bad leader. A good leader knows how to manage the unexpected (like a change in a presidential campaign) and take appropriate action (stick to the issues and avoid the racist card). Not Old Sleepy Don! It’s just like when the global pandemic came around. The horrible leader didn’t rely on experts for help and made up things that got people killed. His narcissism prevents him from getting advice better than his own poor knowledge base. He lost in 2020 and he still stinks. He’ll lose in 2024 if people get out and vote. Vote blue not pee-yew!

Plus, it can’t be that hard to defend him with some perfectly reasonable doubts. A jury wouldn’t convict him for doing the right thing.

The question wasn’t about natural snow, just about snow. Yes, snow will be there, natural or artificial.

I’ve lived in Utah for 49 years. Even in the worst years, there is enough snow to hold an Olympic games and more snow for other recreational applications. It is improbable and unrealistic to expect otherwise. The Governor of Utah and others think so, along with the IOC. The ski resorts think so too, or else they’d stop selling ski passes. If anybody has actual facts and data to prove otherwise, information that these officials lack, then share it and show it. The contrariness seems to be about something else, like not liking the Olympics or what-if scenarios speculating about climate change.

The fact that there’s a whole industry shows a proven track record. It snowed for the 2002 games. It’s unlikely there won’t be snow for 2032. The athletes that train in SLC year after year keep coming back. The suggestion there won’t be snow is the more unrealistic outlook.
