Squirrels aren’t a typical vector for rabies. There was no indication the squirrel was exposed to a rabies vector, like a bat, any more than a household pet or human.
It bit a NY cop though, that’s what happened.

Squirrels tend not to be vectors for rabies. I got shredded by a squirrel my cat brought in that I thought was dead. The doctor shrugged me off and sent me home with some antibiotics.
Squirrels don’t consume rabies vectors, so they’d have to be bitten by a bat with rabies first if they have it.
I actually kind of enjoy powerlines and junction boxes. There’s a level of engineering that is both rough and delicate that is magnified by how orderly and chaotic they are alike.
Now if the power lines are at the expense of a view through trees, that’d be more a bummer. Likewise if the trees remain that’s a hazard waiting to happen, which is also a bummer.
Buried lines and conduit pipe are preferable in most cases and share similar aesthetic characteristics.
The only reference I have for this was someone who I knew who rubbed said slime on herself for YouTube when she was 17 to build a following for when she turned 18 and started camming.
FromSoftware HQ.
Ah the first 40 minutes of The Princess Bride countless times through K-12.
It really is just an anti-trans thing.
I used to be able to name every nut that there was. And it used to drive my mother crazy, because she used to say, “Harlan Pepper, if you don’t stop naming nuts,” and the joke was that we lived in Pine Nut, and I think that’s what put it in my mind at that point. So she would hear me in the other room, and she’d just start yelling. I’d say, “Peanut. Hazelnut. Cashew nut. Macadamia nut.” That was the one that would send her into going crazy. She’d say, “Would you stop naming nuts!” And Hubert used to be able to make the sound, he couldn’t talk, but he’d go “rrrawr rrawr” and that sounded like Macadamia nut. Pine nut, which is a nut, but it’s also the name of a town. Pistachio nut. Red pistachio nut. Natural, all natural white pistachio nut.
Well the argument being made here is that the campaign’s strategy actively depressed turnout.
So not doing normalizing the opposition and implementing the policies your voting base tends to oppose.
I am not sure you remember but the media reaction to Bernie doing well initially was major outlets like CNN reacting with fear, loathing, and uncertainty. And it impacted rhe course of an election. You had anchors yelling about how Sanders will result in public executions in central park during the primary.
Yeah it is definitely a fascist problem.
I mean I would love to believe there are trns of millions of silent far left protest abstentions, but the fact of the matter is seventy million plus motherfuckers actively went for the overt fascists. Tens of millions more didn’t care enough to at least go third party. This was a turnout problem, not a protest vote problem.
Poor thing’s been ripped from its habitat into this cruel low pressure environment .
Policy-wise it is the same Grand Old Party. The vibe and rhetoric is different, but the policy is mostly all there.
No one is really checking where and how people are operating from for those nuances to come out.
Judging from the points being made here in this thread, clearly there was little reading of the article to begin with.
Even article headline uses ‘Arab-American’ and ‘Pro-palestinian’ interchangeably. The perfect level of wrong that creates a bunch of uncertainty and confusion.
I’d hit up a Golden Corral before an Applebees.
But seriously I infinitely prefer the non-brand local diner, usually named after the street it is on, over just about any sit-down chain.
He really should’ve brought a cowbell to signal the audience.
Glusencamp-Perez ran on opposing Biden and working with Republicans.
Kent ran on opposing Perez for being a Democrat.
Absolutely insane.
There was a whole era of gaming from the late 90s to like 2010 where like a couple developers made something special, left, and then the company coasted on the code for a decade.
For me it was the Company of Heroes series.
