The app is really cool. I use Mlem. There’s an Apollo type app but it’s not very accessible with a screen reader currently.

Oh absolutely! I have contacted Reddit a few times and all they would say is that they think Reddit should be used by everyone, and they’re working on accessibility. Yet, when I update the app, it somehow gets worse! Clearly, they don’t care, or they’d have made the exzemption to third-party apps that focus on accessibility sooner, rather than when blind folks were banging on their door, wanting better.

Not sure if my comment went through, but the site is ok for replying to comments. The app, Mlem, is good for browsing communities except when it randomly crashes.

The Mlem app keeps crashing all of a sudden, so I hate that. And making a community is kinda strange. I get to the “create” button and when I press it, it says, “match the…” but I don’t know what the rest is cuz the screen reader stops.

Nah. Discord is the most accessible, if we’re talking about blind folks and accessibility. I tried using Element, and yikes!!! No. Cant read a single convo. In Discord, I can go back as far as necessary till I catch up. Tried other apps, too, and they all do the same thing.

Yes, definitely. I might see what the native Reddit app I use is gonna do cuz if the app focuses on accessibility, then supposedly, the API will be free. However, the NSFW subs will not be able to be accessed. Sucks. So I’m leaning more and more towards making a community here and stickying it to my communities on Reddit and hoping for the best.

KinkCity, which has more un-automated content, and TheRedRoomOfKink which used to be amazing but isn’t cuz well, is a long story.

The things I could say but won’t. I’ll just leave it as, yes. I hate it!!! I’ve been banned for the dumbest things from 2 subs, ran by the same girl. Once for promoting my sub, which ok, maybe I shouldn’t have done, and second because oh no!!! I used a Reddit bot in my Discord server and I guess the chick thought I was copying her. The thing that sucks is that now my sub is suffering and I’m weary od creating a BDSM subreddit because this doesn’t seem the place for that.
