Thank you for the info! I am right now thinking of switching to linux on my PC - I am using like a 7 year old Windows 10 system so I need to clean up anyway and no way in hell am I moving to Windows 11 :D

Somehow the complexity of using Lemmy compared to other social media sites and the decentralized nature of it has really gotten rid of the trollfarms and bot spam to a pretty good extent. I realize now that Reddit has such an insane amount of bad-faith actors that cause the site to be so toxic, same with all other mainstream social media.

My alternative was to start carrying a wallet with cards. Maybe it’s not wise to give card information for free to a service like that in general.

For anyone reading, any idea what the music catalogue on Qobuz is compared to Apple/YouTube/Spotify music? I checked out the website and it looks like Qobuz is kinda expensive (I pay 9.99 euros a month for YouTube Premium + YouTube Music so it’s really hard to get rid of it and find a better alternative)
