I’m asking for the opposite, if your instance allows you to downvote stuff then can you downvote stuff that’s on instances that don’t allow them?

Can a person outside of instance with disabled downvotes downvote stuff on that instance?

Huh? I thought that it only applies to posts on your instance and not all the interactions that users of this instance can do. Am I wrong?

I posted it to only 3 communites and 1 of them is a small local community. It’s not like I spam it everywhere.

It rewards you for it but the reward doesn’t have enough time before it sets in and brain takes the reward back.

I guess some people may like those posts but it’s just mindless posting dependant on reddit and posting on those bot instances will get you buried by the rest of post made by bots. I don’t see how using bots for posting stuff would help to build an active community but if people really need all of the posts regardless of quality from some subreddits then it’s fine.

Comments under this post describe the problems with something like that pretty well.
