I remember in high school when I set up my environment up similar to this with the cube workspace. Now I just think it’s more inconvenient then instantly hotkeying to a specific workspace

It’s all the former reddit users. That place breeds “intellectuals” who try to one-up everyone and prove they’re smarter. If things don’t fit in with their paradigm or echo chamber they down vote.

Great article.
I admit you’re right Q, regrettably so… Nonetheless, this poor individual deserves our help.

Pathetic.

For me the benefit of AUR isn’t necessarily the ease of download. It’s the fact that it’s community based and anyone can build a package for any software. I always git clone and then makepkg. I hate using yay because I want to read the PKGBLD myself and check the hash. I’ve found some obscure software via AUR that I wouldn’t be able to easily download on other distros. Further more the AUR website allows comments from the community which encourages bug fixes and/or a dialogue with specific package issues.
AUR is also amazing

This exact thing used to happen to me with Lyft. I would be out late until around 2am at my friends house some nights drinking. When I would open the Lyft app and look for a ride back home they would be at around $90!!! I would wait for about 20 minutes and the price would drop to about 35-40$. It was outrageous and made no sense. Eventually I stuck with just grabbing a cab each time instead for around 45$
They run the site for free and there’s basically no adds. You expect them to afford capabilities for 100s of people doing 30-40 rom downloads at once?
