  • He is also the only President to release 5,000 terrorists. This is how he brought peace to Afghanistan.

Trump invited the Taliban to Camp David just before the anniversary of 9/11 without involving the Afghan government or America’s international allies.

After the Camp David scheme fell apart, Trump subsequently cut a deal directly with the Taliban that freed 5,000 imprisoned fighters, allowing them to return to the battlefield to regain strength, and put the Taliban in its strongest military position in 20 years.

Trump proceeded with talks despite reliable intelligence that the Taliban did not intend to abide by the deal’s terms, and he even acknowledged that they could “possibly” take over the Afghan government after U.S. withdrawal. New York Times: “Trump’s Deal With the Taliban Draws Fire From His Former Allies”

Trump’s deal made major concessions and left the U.S. with only 2,500 troops in Afghanistan when President Biden took office—the smallest force since 2001.

The deal set timelines for withdrawal and gave permission for the Taliban to attack U.S. troops if the timeline wasn’t met.

Trump left the Biden-Harris administration with zero plans for an orderly withdrawal—only a dangerous, costly mess. Trump even bragged that the Biden-Harris administration “couldn’t stop the process” he started.

Now Afghanistan is fully under the Taliban control who regularly murder women for funzies. Perhaps you could cynically say it was going to happen anyways. We all know the truth though. Trump and his gang of rejects let it happen on their watch.

  • There is already a solution using relatively simple analytics and building a profile of the player. It becomes very easy to find cheaters because it is easy to analyze how fast and directionally they aim. It is obvious when someone is using macros for instance or a aimbot.

The problem is this does not require intrusive programs that are essentially spyware for your OS. This is what attracts the big studios to these solutions not their effectiveness.

There is a workable solution but let’s be honest. Cheaters are often whales and spend a lot of time and money on the game. It is bad engagement to send them away.

Big studios already recognize this. So to be blunt they allow a certain amount of cheating because they don’t want to really solve the problem.

  • I think the real problem that no one in the US is prepared to deal with is we are the bad guys in almost every situation. Once you peel off the thin veneer of freedom and supposed rights you are left with a militaristic corporate oligarchy. One that regularly uses and abuses human beings.

It is no surprise we played both sides before being involved in WWII. Powerful influential people from the US helped bank roll the Nazi party.

Then when this poison tree bore fruits the Nazi came to the US and other countries asking that we take the Jews.

The same people who backed the Nazi party in the US said hell the fuck no and doomed the Jews to die.

Then we go in killing a shit ton of innocent civilians and declare we are good guys. That’s right the people who helped create the Nazi and deny the Jews safety are the good fucking guys. Unfucking believable.

The truth behind the US is so ugly no one can truly face it. This is just one story in the book of fuckups we have perpetrated around the world.

  • I think you are missing something important. Oh yeah, they gave their nuclear arms back to Russia for peace. Who would have thought their brothers and sisters would betray them, after all they are practically the same people.

This is what makes the whole thing just fucking crazy. It would be like if Puerto Rico voted to be an independent nation and signed a peace treaty with the US. Then less then a couple decades goes by and the US starts attacking them when there are more Puerto Rican’s in the US than in Puerto Rico. It does not make any sense.

  • That is not really accurate. The reason it has not become a state has everything to do with Congress. You can check out the Wikipedia page on it, I know I just did.

    I found this tidbit.

“According to Christina D. Ponsa-Kraus, professor of legal history at Columbia Law School, some American legislators feared that racial mixing would occur among white Americans in the contiguous United States and non-white Puerto Ricans if Puerto Rico were admitted as a state. Puerto Ricans were restricted to limited self-governance—under a U.S.-appointed governor—and did not have U.S. citizenship.”

So perhaps racism is really the deciding factor. It also played heavily into why the US did not take over Mexico for fear of blood mingling.

Perhaps those that oppose statehood have good reason though. Hard to join a country that seems to hate you
