21·8 months agoThe German Bundeswehr has been a quite lacking army with lots of problems with non functional equipment. I wonder if the DDR and BRD had well trained and equipped armies respectively. I’m too young to know about that.

If there was easy access to assisted suicide it could help a bit. There is a whole lot of problems with this topic and working out an acceptably ethic solution is hard. But some people would use it. And I’m very much one such person. Being disabled sucks.
But the article said that while people live longer their healthy years don’t increase that much. And that is going to be a problem

I had that with some medication. It was a pain killer and muscle relaxant that was in a bottle with a drip opening. The last ml refused to stop out so I took the bottle and sucked the rest out. Well that was more than the usual dose of that medication. I was lying in my bed barely able to move. But I never felt so relaxed
The concept of package lockers works best if you can go there by foot or bike. Then it is now fuel efficient. If you have to drive to the locker it makes the whole thing useless
