Some US states (and I think(?) the US Federal government) have rebate programs to encourage electrification, i.e. buying an electric car over a gas car, installing a Level 2 charger (240 V vs 120 V) at one’s home for an electric car, or installing solar panels on/at one’s home, just to name a few examples.
