Dear Jerboa team, I am writing to you today to share some feedback on the accessibility of your app. I am a Talkback user, and I have found that there are a few areas where the app could be improved.
• Full Talkback support for all app features. This would mean that Talkback users would be able to navigate through menus, read text labels, and interact with buttons and other controls using Talkback. • Improved accuracy of Talkback announcements. Currently, Talkback can sometimes announce incorrect or incomplete information. This can make it difficult for Talkback users to use the app. I believe that making Jerboa more accessible would be a valuable addition to the app. It would make it more inclusive and accessible to a wider range of users. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Hunterd189
EDIT: rephrase the post and make it sound nicer
Wasnt trying to sound mean, just trying to improve the app
Now I’m curious what the 1st edition sounded like. 😅 Glad users are pointing out improvements for accessibility though.
What version are you on? I filed an issue about quite a few accessibility bugs that were fixed in 0.0.34 which was released yesterday afternoon. I am a talkback user myself and xan file issues on github if needed
0.0.33
Yep, try updating. It fixes quite a bit. Not perfect by any stretch but much better
All my apps are up to date according to play store. How would I go about updating
Hmm. I assume you would have to wait. I havent used play store in like 4 years because i get my stuff from fdroid
Thanks
How about instead of “requesting”, you ask nicely? Goes a long way with people donating their own free time and resources to a project.
