Scrolling on lemmy.world gets confusing when new posts are added to the page periodically. I prefer content remaining static until I refresh. Is there a way to configure that?

It’s a bug currently, users have mentioned it will be fixed in the next version.

Ah interesting, I guess it made sense when the community was much smaller. Seeing a new posting pop up every few minutes. Now that there are significantly more users and instances the live postings are hitting much faster, every few seconds.
I wish people would implement features with the ability to turn them off. Seems mindboggling to me that this annoyance wasn’t on the implementers radar.
