The United States has admitted it did not notify the Iraqi government before its recent air strikes in the country after a top White House official claimed Baghdad had been informed in advance.

Iraq, like every country in the region, understood that there would be a response after the deaths of our soldiers. As for this specific response on Friday, there was not a pre-notification,” Patel told reporters. “We informed the Iraqis immediately after the strikes occurred.”

The clarification came after White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby on Friday said that Washington had informed the Iraqi government in advance.

Kirby said on Monday that he had responded to reporters’ questions with the “information that I had been provided at the time”.

“It was not as specific as it could have been, and I regret any confusion caused,” he said.

History has proven the idea works. Japan and Germany are both examples. A power vacuum happens if there’s simply a ceasefire. Once Hamas is wiped out, and the Arab coalition of the Abraham accord steps in ( with massive profits for themselves of course as seen by the billions that have been used for terror rather than to help Arabs) there’s absolutely the opportunity to rebuild without the religious based hatred corrupt orgs like UNRWA have been pushing. SA, UAE and a handful of others have changed the level of Anti semitism drastically in the few shorts years since normalizing relations. This is possible, it’s just not possible when the goal of the Pan Arabian caliphate is being pushed by bad actors. Hamas, the Houthis and the IRGC all need to get gone for it to happen and the world should be cheering for that regardless of the Israel Palestine situation.
