    They LET us KEEP our data… so they’re NOT (yet) using their market power to do what they want?

    I think this headline got it wrong: If MS wants to do business with Europe, they have to follow our privacy laws or face hufe fines and ultimately the boot (which would benefit nobody).

      It has nothing to do with GDPR, I promise. I came up with it on my own because I care about the data of our…I mean the data privacy of our customers.

      The use of this kind of language certainly has it’s effects on non techies, hell even I didn’t notice it until I saw your comment

      It make people think they have no control over their data, and that online privacy is a myth

      They let us GIVE them our data, and all their software makes us generous with it.
