ROCKFORD, Ill. (WLS) – Eight migrant buses were in route to Chicago Sunday morning after a plane from Texas carrying over 300 asylum seekers landed in Rockford overnight.

The migrants were flown from Texas to Illinois in a jumbo jet, landing at Rockford International Airport, Rockford ABC affiliate WTVO reported.

The migrant crisis Chicago has been grappling with has once again made its way to the suburbs.

After the plane landed, the passengers were reportedly immediately put on buses heading to Chicago’s landing zone near West Polk Street and South Desplaines Street.

The City of Chicago issued a statement Sunday afternoon, saying that city officials had been notified by Rockford of the plane’s arrival. Eight buses from Rockford have dropped off migrants in multiple suburbs on the way to Chicago, but they have not yet reached Chicago, city officials said.

My understanding is that Chicago welcomes illegal immigrants. Why would you not want them to go to a place where they are welcomed?

Chicago welcomes women and children too, should I round up a bunch in my local area and forcibly transit them under false pretenses as a smug political stunt?

My understanding is it doesn’t matter if the place you’re being trafficked to welcomes you for it to be human trafficking.

But, again, you seem to think there are situations where human trafficking is acceptable, those situations apparently being ‘I don’t like those people.’

I clicked on your post history and all I can understand is that you’ve very angry about a lot of things. Do you live in a state that allows weed? You might try weed.

Thats true of literally everyone that lives in areas surrounding a world famous city. Sanfran, LA, New york, DC, Orlando.

The fifteenth time you’ve explained the difference between bothel and seattle, you start to just say seattle since you’re saying “its near seattle” to explain where it is anyways.

Yeah but Rockford is 100 miles away from Chicago. It’s not even close to suburbs, its in a separate metropolitan statistical area from Chicago’s massive zone. It’s like saying you are from LA when you live in San Diego.

I live in NY and constantly have to try and explain, no, not the city, no where near the city, New York State has places like 8 hours away by car from NYC.

Texas: we could send them back to their country OR we could allow them in and send them to another state.

Therefore, Texas: illegal immigration is OK and we support it.

      Also Texas: WAAAAA 😭😭😭😭

…because you and your ilk have repeatedly shown open hostility towards desperate people, and now there’s people who will show them compassion?

I’ll agree that immigration is broken and needs overhaul (especially for green cards & visas) but throwing a shit fit and using humans as political props is not helping.
