    supply to the german side was finally cut off when SKF told the allies that the entire stock was for sale to anyone who paid. I believe the last payment was made by the US 10-15 years ago, finally settling the debt.

    Lmao that’s actually kind of a hilarious flex if you think about it:

    “We will sell to anyone who can pay for it”

    “Ok then. We will buy literally all of it, and all of what you produce for the next decade, because we don’t want those other guys to have it”
