He didn’t actually feel any of the gravity of the situation when he remarked “now I am become death, destroyer of worlds,” he wasn’t making a reference to a religious text, he just remembered that cool time he had sex and his lover dismounted, walked over to the bookcase, pulled a random book off the shelf, and asked “what does this means?” before getting back on
