To admit frankly, l am a non technical person who would be tinkering with the task of creating a full fledged website for a travel company. For me, it’s going to be a fun activity. There are a lot of nerds out here who can help me with their expertise. Many thanks to you all😊😊😊
If this is your first project I would 100% say don’t start from scratch.
Use something like Wordpress and if things are missing look at the plugins for augmenting the site.
Take a lot of time researching content management systems / frameworks. Consider hosting and licensing costs, tech stack, user / customer preference. Avoid lock-ins.
These are too technical terms. Right now, my concern is to design a website and get it running. It has to be a dynamic one.
PHP i think would be a good choice for start
Don’t you think it’s a bit too advanced who wants to start from the scratch ?
Knowing PHP is the bare minimum knowledge needed to build a modern website (along with HTML and CSS, of course).
To me it seems that you’re in over your head. You should probably just have ChatGPT write the code for you and call it a day.
I’m not a developer either, but I would say PHP is the bare minimum if you want a dynamic site. You’re not going to go from scratch to anything presentable without putting time and some coding into it.
Don’t take this as discouragement, just a bit of realism going into this project.
It’s not like the old days where you could just throw up a bit of html and your done. You need to do some research, especially if you are running a business.
Yes, it’s for boosting a business. It should reach out to maximum number of people who would be making queries for the informations provided in the site.

But, I think you are looking for a CMS site that does stuff like Wordpress.
I stole this from Wikipedia
Based on a survey, the most widely used content management system is WordPress, used by 43.6% of the top 10 million websites as of October 2021. Other commonly used content management systems include Squarespace, Joomla, Shopify, and Wix.
