Trump hectored the "great people of Canada" Monday morning, encouraging them to cede their borders and make HIM their president by becoming the 51st state.
The American population is not properly motivated. More than half of the adult population are not fit (mentally or physically) to fight anything or anyone. Now, if Canada invaded as an act of liberation, it might be a different story.
You might get 15% of the police and 20% of the military to do what’s right, but the problem is that the 85% and 80% of those are the ones who will retain access to weapons and ammo.
You’re acting like the only way to win a war is to conquer every single square foot of it, Civilization style. If Canada held NYC, DC, and maybe Chicago, for a month, they would win.
I’m not stupid or acting any specific way. Im very realistic on this subject and very aware that any meaningful rebellion would likely take years of asymmetric warfare but they would absolutely lose.

if the military sucks against insurgency and they do, the cops definitely aren’t going to be any help. Start shooting at protesters and you’re gonna see shit that makes 2020 look like a children’s party.
