Trump is over 35 and a citizen. He’s qualified. I know you want a female president just to have one.

Kamala was installed without a primary, which I know isn’t necessary per the DNC rules, but apparently that mattered. And after admitting Biden isn’t fit to run while Biden himself was determined to run, wasn’t a good look.

DNC fucked your party over. It was a shit show for everyone. We’re ready for the RIGHT female president. Not just a president just because they are female.

May I add, that Tulsi lasted longer in the 2020 primary than Kamala. What if it was Tulsi vs Trump? That would have been interesting to watch. (2020)

Perhaps the DNC will be better prepared in 2028 with a viable candidate.

I gotta ask the “America is too misogynistic to elect a woman” crowd how Tammy Baldwin, Gretchen Witmer, Kristen Sinema, and Jodi Ernst were winning all those Trump states.

Hell, imagine if Witmer had run in the 2024 Dem Primary. She was a solid contender and she clearly has a reputation and platform that Midwesterners vibe with. She’s not a fringe radical BernieBro, so Wall Street can stomach her. But she’s also not a lightning rod like Hillary.

If you don’t like Witmer, consider that Elizabeth Warren and Amy Klobacher both significantly outperformed Harris during the 2020 primary.

All of them were fundamentally stronger candidates. But none of them were “in line” thanks to the whims of the 2020 Biden VP selection committee.

Crazy that Biden ran virtually unchallenged, then dumped the whole campaign in Harris’s lap after a bad debate performance.

Indeed it’s like they can’t even acknowledge it’s already proven that voters don’t give a shit if the candidate is a woman or not. We have research and studies on that…

If there is complain, that ain’t the one

I’m sure anyone but Harris, Clinton and Biden would’ve sufficed. I would have voted for Ernst, always thought military experience should be a prerequisite for presidency to thin out the billionaires.

Glances nervously at Tulsi Gabbard and Marianna Williamson

          Well, maybe…

The rich guy vanity campaigns are certainly annoying. But I see an immediate moral hazard in letting the military have a monopoly on presidential candidates.

And lots of military guys - Micheal Flynn, David Paetreus, Pete Hegseth - are demonstrably fucking awful. Idk if you improve the field this way.

I found that this candidate’s campaign made a mistake. See? They jaywalked to reach their stage for a rally.

Now, raise your hand if you actually find that mistake to be important. That is an important and personal decision. By any normal standards, every candidate in every election has made mistakes. Just that the mistakes of the opponent were rape, insurrection, and repeated business failures.

Campaigns are short in some other countries; people aren’t often helped by getting signals about someone 8 months before elections.

In short, I accept basic adult criticism of Kamala, but not nearly enough to forgive people who voted against her. Yes, AIPAC has staggering influence in US politics, and sadly we couldn’t fix that with an election.

The right candidate for the DMC probably ain’t the candidate for you and me
