i agree with you but if you’re willing to die at that point, why wouldn’t you just take action now to stop that scenario from happening? if we wait till the wolf is at our door, we’ve given the wolf the advantage of initiative. you don’t win wars by waiting for the enemy to strike first.
yep. american individualism is a denial of the very basics of humanity: we are social creatures. we got to the top of the food chain through cooperation, not by being the most alpha of lone wolves.
