    Probably shouldn’t have put the tie on him then, they usually don’t like that kind of thing.

      Yeah, they were probably just really irritated or even scared.

      Also it seems very dangerous unless it’s some sort of breakaway thing. And even then really unnecessary.

        the owner of the picture themselves possibly put on the tie on their cat used to thst kind of thing and lied about it for an internet caption meme. The facial expression of cat looks blurry but relaxed tbh its obviously well fed and groomed.

          Yeah as some kind of novelty / joke collar this would obviously not be safe. (I can see why it would be funny, but not safe.)

          More likely it’s staged as you say.

          I don’t actually disagree with you, but in the case of stray cats, this is actually a bad indicator. Many strays are very well taken care of by their local community. My neighborhood, for example, maintains a cat colony of about 5 cats. They’re well fed, and if you just go by their coat you’d assume they get taken to a groomer weekly. They just eat well and take care of themselves, though
