Summary

CBS’s 60 Minutes faced intense backlash from Trump allies after host Scott Pelley criticized Donald Trump’s cabinet picks, calling them unqualified and lacking experience.

Pelley highlighted Pete Hegseth (Defense Secretary), Matt Gaetz (Attorney General), Tulsi Gabbard (Director of National Intelligence), and RFK Jr. (head of the CDC) as controversial nominees, citing loyalty to Trump rather than qualifications.

The segment drew sharp criticism from Trumpworld figures like Steven Cheung, Elon Musk, and Charlie Kirk, who labeled it biased propaganda.

Some Democrats and Republicans have also questioned the viability of these nominations in Senate confirmations.
