Ahh, so that’s a bug. Always see someone comment on unrelated post, yet i know for sure what post they’re trying to comment on.
This is some weird throwback. Back when Lemmy was using web sockets (before Reddit blocked third-party apps) there was a bug where a page would update with different content, but replies would go to the original post (iirc), but it was fixed ages ago.
This happens to me all the time. Damn self checkout.
What app do you use? Some people are saying it never happens to them
never happened to me edit: omg I just went through my old comments and holy shit there is a lot that got posted wrong!
