I’m guessing y’all hate the oleophobic coating on your screens cause the top two will rub off the coating faster. I do bottom right and even after 4 years on the same phone my fingers still glide on the glass.
I would rather mess up the coating than run into something and shatter my screen also I just use a screen protector that I replace every once in a while so it doesn’t really matter
As long as your skin is softer than Luke Cage you won’t have a problem with bumping into stuff. I’ve handled 50 lb metal equipment by leaning it on my right thigh (where my phone is) and it hasn’t chipped or cracked.

How will it do that?
The constant rubbing against your thigh while walking as well as the sweat produced will rub it off.
Interesting. I’ve never had that happen.
