I do not understand the US cuckoldry to Israel.

The Lavon Affair was an Israeli plot to blow up US and British buildings in Egypt, in order to frame islamic terrorists.

The Israeli Nuclear program was started with 100 kg of refined Uranium they illegally stole from US stockpiles.

The USS Liberty was attacked by Israel with the aim to sink it (34 dead, 117 injured).

…and that’s not even getting to the child sex trafficking Mossad agent Robert Maxwell’s daughter, Ghislain Maxwell did.

The alliance with Israeli Fascism has almost always been one sided, and the US just keep persisting with allowing this stuff to happen. It’s insane.

“Look, it’s easy, when we do it, that means it’s for the good of all that’s right in the world, but when they do it, it proves they’re the horrible monsters we’ve been saying they are.”

“They do it, we say they do it, what’s the difference?”

As we all know, only brown people can be human shields and fair game as collateral damage.

There is a difference between being “near” and “under”.
In the first case, unless your missile/bomb is shitty, you should be able to hit the target without collateral damages. On the second, except by telling in advance where you are gonna bomb, there is no way to avoid collateral damage. That a case where the population is used as human shield.

Still, taking that into account, especially with the latest development in drones, Israel could have used a less destructive approach. But that would have required them to go out in the open, and I doubt they would. The only option left is to wait for another opportunity, or to go for it with their bunker buster bombs, despite all the collateral damage it would do. Considering the little respect Israel military has for Arabs lives, the answer was the later.

Israel/Palestine, a magical land where access to PGMs determines whether or not a military is guilty of war crimes.

Is it not insane how we have seen repeated war crimes from both parties for nearly an entire year, and here we are talking about whether you could avoid hitting a hospital if you had precision guided munitions?

Both sides are guilty of war crimes, and that bombing is a war crime in my opinion. Still, The Hezbollah have a lot of other option other than building bunkers under civilian building. If they can dig under that, they can dig under a mountain, a field, or anywhere else where their presence wouldn’t put others in danger.

So tell me, other than using it as a shield, why dig a bunker under a civilian building ?

My point was that war crimes committed by insurgents doesn’t invalidate war crimes committed by a corrupt right-wing strongman and his fascist thugs.

I have a bunker under my apartment building in Sweden. In some rougher neighborhoods, these bunkers are used by gangs to store ak47s. It’s tough to take Israel’s word that every airstrike on a home or a hospital has blown up a “hamas command center”, especially considering that many of these airstrikes have been ordered by an AI.

In this case Hamas has no access to precision missiles only dumb rockets. Hezbollah has missiles but I doubt their accuracy would be as precise.

They would both likely hit the hospital if they fired a barrage at the headquarters.

Very probably, indeed. And most, if not all, would be intercepted by the iron dome. I also doubt they have the required range.

I wonder if their Iranian sponsors could.

The Iron Dome’s weakness has been demonstrated by Hamas. Just lob enough trash at it to overwhelm it. But firing a ton of low-cost projectiles means they won’t be accurate whatsoever.

Iran hit an israeli airbase with their missiles in April even with all the advance warnings so it’s likely they could bypass the Iron Dome.
