I’ll try and catch this as he’ll always be Superman to me. There won’t be a dry eye in the house by the end if this though.

Why I really really want to watch my superhero and not yours Fly again but its still stuck in my mind on him advocating for stem cells , which there is nothing wrong with. And being in a wheelchair. I want the theme music and him flying to be an everlasting moment in my memories. I saw him on the big screen and to me he was larger than life and I don’t want to mess up those memories but I appreciate the filmakers putting it out there. But we can all agree that you don’t want your Superman sitting in a wheelchair and gasping for air after he finishes a sentence.

Even reading comic books Superman will always be to me Christopher Reeve. And don’t want to watch him in a wheelchair or anything.

There’s a saying I heard about a year or few ago that changed my perspective: this is not happening to me, this is happening for me! A new adventure, lots to learn, I will stretch and grow! Let’s go!

Okay, these are new attitudes and sayings I’m learning to put into practice, in my life. It makes a world of difference. I’m not talking about toxic positivity, I’m talking about handling life in it’s own terms. I’m taking about processing the emotions, doing grief work, and anger work, and shadow work. Feeling joy . Grounding myself. It’s simple enough, but not always easy. That’s when it’s time to learn, stretch and grow, applied as needed alone or in combination.
