I would like to sort comments mostly by top/hot, but sometimes by new. I can’t seem to find this feature. An I missing something or is it not developed yet?

This is a known issue and already has been addressed on GitHub:

I suspect this will get implemented with the next update.
Looks like it was implemented in the past week, but it missed the 0.34 deadline. Look for it in the release after that, or build it yourself.
