Enjoying Freetube since the blocking bag showed up for me.

This isn’t technically a Sbubby, at least by subreddit standards, since it doesn’t actually alter the YouTube logo. However, given that the post volume here is so low and there isn’t really a Lemmy equivalent to r/CleanExpansions I can redirect to, I’m gonna leave it up.

A friend of mine has a working beta of a distributed, scalable, federated youtube replacement that uses a simple flat fee for uploaders, an opt-in storage pool where you can earn credits, and is free to watch with no ads.
