Summer. Especially at night. I feel like summer nights are always the perfect temperature, makes up for it being too hot in the day.

It’s cliche but Christmas. There’s just something about hearing Christmas music, seeing the snow falling from the sky, the gatherings, watching Christmas movies. It just makes me feel nice inside

Four o’clock. If it’s a workday then it’s almost done but on a day off it’s early enough that you still have time to relax.

    I’d have to say winter.

Spring is horrendous when it comes to pollen allergies and gets really bad around April.

Summer is similarly bad for hayfever sufferers, but also too hot and peak season for wasps and hornets.

Autumn can be nice but that’s overshadowed by being born in the same month as a lot of birthdays fall on (yes, a lot of people fuck during the Christmas holidays.) plus September is the one month that’s very restricted in terms of me taking time off because we have to prep the year-end accounts at work.

Winter on the other hand… It’s cold, it gets dark early, it can be pretty quiet, and there is nothing that beats the feeling of eating a turkey roast feast on Christmas Day, or going to a Christmas market and drinking mulled wine.

Spring. Not too hot, sun is out, things are green, lovely time of the year. Autumn is also nice, similar stuff to like, but overall, I don’t like the muddy ground and weather as much. Winter is nice temperature-wise, but the lack of sun messes with me. Summer is… unavoidable, unfortunately :/

Winter, but I’m in California so of course it’s a bit different for us. I love rainy days, particularly with no wind. I prefer to be inside listening to it, but if there’s no wind, I don’t mind being out in it too much.

Where I am in SoCal, it’s perfect right now. The lows are in the upper 50s, the highs in the mid 80s. The mornings are cool and a bit overcast, but it burns off to a sunny, warm day. It gets cool enough to open the windows just after sundown, them close them mid morning. Really nice. In a month, highs and lows will increase ten to fifteen degrees, so it will be a bit hot.

Me and my family used to be really big on Michaelmas, which would be my answer. We didn’t invest during the other holidays.

Gonna throw in my vote for the tail-end of fall. When it’s almost-but-not-quite winter, and every morning is chilly and frosty. There’s something really peaceful about the quietness of it. And it tends to be right in-between major holidays, so the break from “being present” is kinda nice, too.

Also tends to coincide with pumpkin spice season. Despite all the recent negativity about it in recent years pumpkin spiced everything is an absolute favorite of mine.
