Or they could be innocent.
Or they could be innocent.
Lock them away. Because the legal system can and does make mistakes.
Being murdered by the state for a crime you didn’t commit is not the sign of a grown up society.

I think it is because the EU listened to the people. This is what you get when elected representatives are not bankrolled by big business, and are allowed to enact legislation that doesn’t only benefit one side.
Grifter baiting his teenage incel followers
65 l/100km… Holy shit, a Bugatti Veyron running at top speed over 400km/h is consuming 122 l/100km.
That’s insane
I think things may have moved on with the tech, my Yaris Hybrid would average 3.8 l/100km with is 74 MPG (UK).
I had cataracts done, have tons of floaters. Also makes it almost impossible to follow a golf ball in flight. I used to play, but got fed up not having a clue where I had hit the damned ball.
If the infrastructure doesn’t support EVs for a journey, that’s an EV problem.
I worked at a software developer, occasionally doing support. Had a call from a customer following up on a ticket, I looked at the record and the salty dude who took the original call had written:
Caller asked me to tell him where he saved his file. I told him “well if you can tell me where I parked my car this morning, I might be able to help you.”
Quality wasn’t a big thing with our software, the senior developer was a stoner who was off his head most of the time, others were either clueless or too busy on side hustles to give a fuck. Amazingly we developed engineering software that was used by amongst others, the atomic weapons establishment in the UK and Buckingham Palace. Happy days.
Thanks for the background.
But 10 years ago when we met it would have been outside that range.
Half my age plus 7 would have been 4.5 years older then her age then. How can it be acceptable now, but not then?
What if half my age plus 7 is 6 months less than my other half’s age? Too close?
While I abhor the whole concept of tipping, the thing that really grinds my gears is that we are expected to pay a percentage of the bill for service. If I order a basic cheese pizza or a 16 ounce tomahawk steak with a big chunk of foie gras and all the trimmings the server does not have to do much extra work for the latter. But if I have to tip $5 on a $20 pizza, why the fuck do I have to tip $100 for almost the same amount of service for the steak? Sure it weighs more and you might need to make an extra trip to serve the trimmings, but WTF, the server is not providing any more value by serving an expensive dish.
If I order an expensive bottle of wine it takes no extra effort to serve, why should I pay a shit ton more service charge?
USA, get your shit together, this is so not right. Land of the free? My arse.
My Dell 7560 mobile workstation is powered by USB C when connected to the docking station, which is rated at 230 watt as I recall.
I have a GeForce GTX 970 from 2015 that’s still doing sterling service every day in my recently refreshed HTPC, delivering 4K movies and the occasional game to my 65in Sony OLED TV. My best tech buy ever.
As a boomer, I don’t recall my parents teaching me anything about prejudice, the same at school. The only guidance on prejudice came from my religious education (I’m RC by birth) and to be honest it was completely the opposite to this sentiment. We were taught, for example, that Protestants were evil and that we should never befriend them or trust them.
I stopped going to church when I was about 11, it no longer felt relevant and the teachings were against my own personal beliefs. I had grown up with friends who were of different faiths, Jewish, Protestant, Muslim as well as Catholic, and didn’t consider them to be anything other than buddies.
Some religious teachings have value, but by promoting prejudice as well, the impact is diminished. The only times I have been in church since I was 11 were for weddings and funerals.
Bob is my Starbucks name, they always get my real name wrong.
The internet access on my network is much more varied, 12 clients including work laptops, an HTPC, Unraid server, smart TV, phones, watches, tablets, games console, VR headset. Several of these use VPNs so bypass the piholes, I used to see up to 45% a few years ago, but I see no reason to switch them off just because other systems are taking up the slack. Seriously, I can’t remember the last time I saw an ad.
Lock them up, as I said
