I started to just leave when this happen. There are a lot of good people who follow the schedule properly, i take my business to them instead.

My general rule is that i shouldn’t spend more energy than the person asking for help because there are people that call for help not because they are unable to solve the thing on their own, but because they rather someone else did everything for them.
We are one old guy away from the first world i see
They put up guard rails to protect the ego of facists from developed countries only.
People are taught how to read. They can just go to the documentation and learn.
Maintaining a browser is crazy hard. If Firefox goes to shit, it would require some serious foundation to maintain a good fork.
Live in Rio, from this list i have almost everything in a 15 minute walk distance the only exceptions are
Although i have a lot of services close, it is still a chore to go walking because a lot of the walking is uphill, i wish there was more public infrastructure to help people move up and down like trams and stuff like that, way back them the city uses to have trams everywhere, but now there’s almost none.
What isn’t on the list, but i absolutely didn’t want around, was an neopentecostal church. Unfortunately, they are everywhere and super loud and disrespectful.
That and the noise, bars can be pretty loud
Next step is selling recaptcha for phones.
Most saas products no, most of software i saw advertising on those kind of channels yes.
You go accepting one small thing after another, and soon you will be locked into a crappy service.
Most of the “tech” youtube world is based around presenting mostly useless consumer products as it was technological advancement.
Most of their SAAS advertisers could be replaced by a “docker compose up”, hardware ones, most of the time are just regular tools with one or two gimmick.
The way to get money advertising on linux is by misleading business people into getting useless enterprise services.
That and using multiple instances of the browser instead of one instance with many tabs helped me a lot. If i have to switch tasks i go to a new workspace and only open the software related to that task there. Once I’m done i just close everything in the workspace and move back to the previous one that is the same way it was before i switch.
Which video editor did you use ? Mint shouldnt fell clunky out of the box, maybe the editor you choose was too much for your hardware, or you had some hardware/instalation specific issue, Da Vinci Resolve is quite heavy on resources, maybe Kdenlive would perform better on this machine.
There are many lightweight basic video editors o linux, give them a try to check if the clunkynes go away.
Yes, on classic fps you could spaw a console that will drop down from the top os the screen, some terminal emulators allow you to do that.
I like it because then i have the terminal always open that i just draw from the top of the screen with a keypress
On KDE i do that with Yakuake, and on gnome with tilix
I use quake style terminals, and often start writing a file and completely forget about it and turn off the computer, and only remember what i left behind when i find the random recovery files around, so :w a lot is quite useful for me.
You know that livestock needs to eat, right ? And they eat a ton of food, we spend a lot of resources just to produce their food, and about health, the healthy amount of meat is way less that people eat today, people should eat less meat, not everyone needs to stop, but they should reduce.
Skill issue
Yes, for things too complex to do in sed but not complex enough to need a “normal” programming language like python.
Dude just gave people ideas of how to get revenge on bad landlords, spray some spores on your last day and hope for the worse.
